Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, this position supports the effective management of group-wide financial operations, with responsibilities spanning financial reporting, treasury, systems implementation, and process improvement. The role involves managing the monthly, biannual, and annual reporting cycles, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and overseeing the consolidation of financial data across all business units. It includes day-to-day treasury activities such as cash flow forecasting and supplier payments, as well as leading initiatives to enhance finance systems and implement new tools. Our Finance Manager also plays a key role in improving internal controls, streamlining processes, and managing audit activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency across finance functions.

The position is a hybrid role based at our Head Office in Hampstead, North London. 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.

As our Finance Manager, your day-to-day will consist of;

• Develop and mentor finance teams across the group, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Project manage the finance workstream, liaising with the wider organisation to improve processes.
• Manage the monthly, biannual, and annual financial reporting process.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare the group’s financial reporting and consolidation process across all subsidiaries and business units.
• Documentation of all current financial processes
• Preparation of accounting papers for new financial processes
• Preparation and presentation of bi-annual impairment review
• Ensure suppliers' payments and relationships are well-maintained
• Management of weekly payment runs
• Management of cash flow forecasting processes
• Oversee debit balances and maintenance of supplier accounts
• Implementation of new systems for process improvement (Atlas).
• Embed the usage of IFRS 16 lease management software (Lucanet).
• Ensure timely updates of all systems requirements.
• Improve finance processes, removing inefficiencies
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Management of the internal audit process
• Preparation and review of monthly Balance Sheet recs

HERE’S LOOKING AT YOU KID.

To be our perfect Finance Manager, you’ll need;

• To be a Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• At least 3 years’ experience managing a finance team within a multi-site business (Hospitality, Leisure, Retail, etc.)
• Previous exposure to IFRS, including IFRS 16, and Group consolidation exposure
• Microsoft Dynamics D365 experience is beneficial
• PLC experience is beneficial
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders
• First-class attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Collaborative work ethic, high motivation and a “can do” attitude
• Drive to represent the Finance function professionally and as a value-added service in the business
